Windows Phone developers are highly suspicious these days. 

Commenters on websites where Windows developers chat are abuzz with claims that Google is trying to strangle the platform by cutting advertising. 

Could it be true that Google is trying to strangle the viability of developers creating apps for Microsoft Corp.’s Windows Phone? 

1.Third-generation Moto G smartphone listed on Flipkart

E-commerce website Flipkart, which is the exclusive sales partner of Motorola in India, has created a placeholder listing for the third-generation Moto G smartphone, suggesting that the handset can be expected to hit the market soon.

First spotted by technology blog GadgetRaid, the listing has since been deleted from the Flipkart website.

Though the Flipkart listing did not give away many details about the third-generation Moto G, it revealed that the handset would be available in white colour and have 8GB of internal storage. The model number of the smartphone is AP3560AD1K8.

Previous leaks have suggested that Moto G (Gen 3) will be a rather big upgrade over the second-generation model and better equipped to take on the latest generation of affordable smartphones.

According to rumours, the upcoming model will have a 5- or 5.2-inch display with Full HD (1080x1920p) resolution and support 4G networks. It is expected to run on the 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 610 processor and pack 2GB of RAM. 

2.Build 10080 of Windows 10 Insider Preview For Phones Now Available

Microsoft had finally released the latest build of Windows 10 Technical Preview for Phones – Build 10080. According to Blogging Windows, this build will bring improvements to the platform, as well as support to important handsets such as the Lumia 930, Lumia Icon, Lumia 640 and 640 XL, and the HTC One for Windows.

 3.Amazon Appstore Offers Paid Android Apps Worth Up to $110 for Free


Amazon has pushed out a new Amazon Appstore for Android Free App of the Day Bundle, which features a total of 38 paid apps and games worth up to $110 (roughly Rs. 7,000) available for free until Saturday 11:59pm PDT (Sunday 12:29pm IST).
The Amazon Appstore for Android often introduces such offers, over and above its regular Free App of the Day offerings, and includes both apps and games. Apps available in this time's bundle that have been made available in previous bundles include PicShop, Genius Scan+, Perfectly Clear, and Five Nights at Freddy's 3, while new apps to the Free App of the Day Bundle include Game Of Thrones, Mini Golf Mundo, Royal Envoy (Premium), and Star Traders 4X Empires Elite.
Notably, users will need to sideload the Amazon Appstore for Android to be able to download and install the apps on their Android device. You can follow the instructions here to install Amazon Appstore on your Android device. After installing the app, you will need to visiting this page on your Android device, with the install from 'Unknown sources' options turned on from Security settings. Remember to turn this option off for your own safety after you're done installing the apps you want.
Alternatively, Amazon Appstore for Android users can visit the page on their desktop browser while logged into their Amazon account, and add the apps they want to their library.


    

 Accessing Google services on windows phone was always bin a pain. As there is no official Google apps collection  for windows phone users it was obvious that WP users has to go with the 3rd party apps.












             






To make matters worse  Google was not on the encouraging side of Microsofts attempts to fill the gap.

The best example for this was the patent issue between MS&Google which lead to the removal of almost all features from the Microsoft's youtube app. leaving behind  just a link to youtube.com

As a youtube fan I was pretty disappointed by this move so my search for the best 3rd party youtube client on WP began.
After trying out almost 90% of the youtube clients in the wp store I have found the best one that sutes my taste.....

With Microsoft’s Windows 10 update is coming to both desktop and mobile devices later this summer ,leaks and news about  the all new spartan browser is getting hotter by the minute

Microsoft revealed how Windows 10 will look on a smartphone Wednesday during its big press event. Now the company has offered a close look at how its new "Project Spartan" browser will look on a mobile screen.

 This promising browser offers tons of improvements compared to our current experience with Internet explorer 11,
the leaked Spartan images indicate that the address bar has moved to the top of the screen, and a Hub section is now present, likely to store articles for offline reading. Furthermore, the “hamburger” menu has apparently been replaced with ellipses.

Unfortunately, the browser is still in very early stages of development. Microsoft did not have any demos on hand for the media yesterday, and we are likely months off before it comes to the Insider program.

Recently Microsoft’s Gabe Aul has posted an update regarding the status of the Windows 10 Mobile Technical Preview program . microsoft explains that it had to select phones that had sufficient partition sizes. While that limited the number of phones that could handle the Technical Preview, Microsoft has come up with a way to increase the number of handsets that will receive the next Technical Preview.

Thanks to a process called "partition stitching," Microsoft can re-size the partition dynamically, allowing the update to be sent to more models. The "partition stitching" was tested last week by Microsoft. The company says that another week of engineering is needed to make sure that the next Technical Preview will be representative of Windows 10 for all of the units that will be allowed to install it.

Microsoft cautions that the phones listed above are not 100% locked into receiving the preview. If a bug shows up on a particular handset during testing, that model might be removed from the list. If the Windows Phone model you own is on the list now, you might just want to keep your fingers crossed hoping that it stays there.
